Brand Identity System

Brand guidelines designed to showcase typography, color, and cohesive visual identity.
Overview and context

While I have worked on official branding projects in my professional careers from company-wide rebrands to owning the creation of branding for high-profile events (including logos, color, typography, imagery, event materials, etc.), these projects cannot be shown in my portfolio due to confidentiality or timing restraints with public disclosure. I've created these brand guidelines for a conceptual company called Q.io in order to showcase a branding project with cohesion.

Goals and objectives

The purpose of this project was to explore brand systems, applying typography, color, and layout decisions to create a cohesive visual identity.

Design process and decisions

This branding project is an example of my ability to create an original brand and visual system. I wanted to showcase a modern, sleek, and colorful aesthetic for a digital-forward brand. I chose to create brand guidelines in card form because in my design roles, clear guidelines have been essential for adhering to and enabling creativity when designing for solidly established brands.
