Direct Mail Campaign

Marketing postcards for local audiences, balancing professional corporate design with approachable, seasonal themes and content.
Overview and context

These postcards were created for direct mail campaigns targeted at local audiences, often featuring information promoting the company or more playful, seasonal themes with location-specific content.

Goals and objectives

These designs were created to connect with local audiences and build trust, influencing recipients to build relationships with their local lenders and increase business visibility.

My role and contribution

I owned the creation of these postcards from concept to final delivery as the sole Graphic Designer, including placing the orders for the postcards through vendors. I handled all aspects of communication with the teams who requested the designs including managing feedback and revision. I was responsible for the entire design process on a recurring basis for all custom direct mail needs.

Design process and decisions

The key decisions in approaching these designs primarily stemmed from an initial conversation with the team requesting the custom postcards. It was important to understand whether the approach was more professional and informative or focused on local and playful content. Once the copy was determined, I iterated on various options and worked toward the most eye-catching and unique design that was still clearly within the established brand guidelines of the company. I ensured files were print-ready and, once approved, placed the orders for physical postcards.

Results and impact

The teams I designed these custom postcards for reported great reponses from these direct mail campaigns and continued to request that I design for them as needed throughout my time with the company.
